WHY DOES NATURAL CALM USE MAGNESIUM CITRATE AND GLYCINATE?

The foundation for all Natural Calm magnesium products is magnesium citrate, proven one of the most absorbable forms of magnesium. When you combine magnesium carbonate with citric acid in liquid, it becomes an ionic form of magnesium citrate, a form that passes rapidly into the bloodstream.

Some of our products (namely, Calmful Sleep and previously, Calm Balance) also contain magnesium glycinate, which is magnesium bonded to an amino acid, glycine. Some research suggests that the amino acid glycine may have a calming effect on the brain.
