WHERE DOES MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE COME FROM?

Our Magnesium Chloride (available in liquid, spray and gel) is derived from salt evaporation ponds along the coast of Southern California.

Depending on prevailing temperatures and inches of rain, the ocean water captured in the ponds will sit for 3 to 6 months until sufficient water has evaporated to cause the salt to drop out of suspension.

The water that remains on top of the salt is naturally high in magnesium chloride as well as approximately 80 other trace minerals.
